Maintaining high pressure, oil and gas inside the shock absorber chamfer,
Dust and external media penetration inside the damper,
Keeping optimum piston rod greasing for the long-life endurance of the sealing.
The Dicherseal damper seals presents the following advantages: Differing elastomer compounds enable sealing over a wide range of temperatures. Availability of different compounds – NBR, HNBR and FKM covering a wide range of operating temperatures (–40 to 120 °C) and ensuring compatibility in all existing oils, compounds, allowing for high and low friction options. Flat top metal surface design permits the tube to be welded or rolled into place. Heavy gauge metal insert, allowing the shock absorber tube to be assembled over the seal in number of different methods. Static gasket, providing a leak-proof seal between tube wall and rod guide. Garter spring, ensuring the correct radial load for the life of the product. Dust lip, preventing contaminants from getting into the system. Gas lip, acting as a check valve and Greasing operation, if requested.
